Welcome to Blackline Precision. We’re Quinn Mathlin and Gabrielle Mortis. Basketball has been a part of our lives for over 25 years. Our passion for the game led us to elevate basketball through quality officiating, development, and professionalism.

We started Blackline Precision to be part of a movement that develops the next wave of basketball referees. Our focus is simple: provide structured training, mentorship, and opportunities so officials can grow in their craft and confidently manage games at every level. Having benefited from mentors who emphasized preparation, attention to detail, and trusting the process, we bring that same discipline to every official and event we serve.

By focusing on professionalism, mentorship, and structured development, we create better games, stronger officials, and seamless events for players, coaches, and tournament directors alike.

Our Calling

With over 20 years of combined NCAA officiating experience, we understand what it takes to run games. We bring that insight to every event we staff, while creating opportunities for officials to grow, gain experience, and develop their skills in a professional, supportive environment.
